Welcome back! We made it to Phase 6 of our Phased Reopening Plan so appointments are no longer necessary for Library visits. We are open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Visits still look different from pre-COVID times and we might need to limit capacity if needed. Our decisions will continue to prioritize health and safety, and to be informed by what is happening with COVID-19 at local and state levels.
The use of masks and physical distancing will be still required to enter. Patrons must also sanitize their hands. We have adequate supplies to provide to our staff members. We have additional masks to offer any community member who might forget to bring one, but please make every effort to provide your own.
Regular and frequent cleaning and disinfecting protocols are in place. Employees will be required to clean their work stations at the beginning of every shift. Employees will practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces. High-moderate touch surfaces will be cleaned/disinfected every hour if necessary; more frequent cleaning and disinfection may be required based on level of use.
Public access computers: To allow for social distancing, only two computers will be available at a time for thirty-minute time slots.
All meeting areas will remain closed at this time.
We continue to offer access to a digital library, curbside delivery, contact-free services, and virtual patron support.
The library is prepared to move back to earlier service stages if we see the health, safety, and well-being of our staff members and community members would require that action. To provide services, we need to stay safe.
