One of the neatest Nottingham traditions remains the Nottingham School third Grade Class historic tour of Nottingham Square and Nottingham Center. This is usually done in the spring, but because of COVID restrictions this not did not happen in 2020. Its return, this year after the hiatus, was particularly exciting for the students, the third-grade teachers, the teachers’ aids, the involved, engaged accompanying parents, the Nottingham Historical Society, and all the other participants.

On a hot, windy Saturday, June 5, 2021 morning at 11 AM, Bob Davidson, Adjutant/Lieutenant of the 1st New Hampshire Regiment and member of Nottingham’s 300th Committee brought together an amazing collection of folks to plan for a Revolutionary War encampment and re-enactment August 19-21, 2022 at Nottingham Square.
