Two Nottingham 8th Graders Win Scholar Leader Awards

Recently the New Hampshire Association for Middle Level Education (NHMLE) has selected two Nottingham School’s 8th grade students as the winners of the 20th Annual Scholar Leader Award. This award goes to two students from each school in NH that exemplify characteristics of scholarship, citizenship, leadership, and integrity. Winners of this award must meet the following criteria: excellent attitude towards learning, provides service to classmates and school, is a positive role model for peers, and takes responsibility for own behavior and learning. Here are the names of the two winners, Lili Cook and James McKane.

Chris Sousa, the Principal of Nottingham School said about these students. “Thank you for being great role models at our school. You exemplify all the best that Nottingham stands for. On behalf of myself and the rest of the staff here at Nottingham School I want to tell you how very proud we all are of you. We all look forward to seeing what wonderful things you accomplish in the years to come.”
